The Airports Council International (ACI) has awarded the Salalah Airport two international awards for the quality of experience passengers had at the airport. The first award Salalah Airport received was “the best airport in the Middle East in terms of service quality, in the category of airports with fewer than two million passengers annually”. The second award is “the best airport in the Middle East for health procedures during the COVID-19 pandemic”.
Travelers are asked to evaluate the best airports in the world based on their customer experience in an annual survey conducted by ACI. Award recipients are airports that have shown continued commitment to their customers during the pandemic. Data for each airport was collected from more than 370,000 customers and included 37 performance indicators.
